At Southern K9 Co., your dog isn't just another guest at a boarding facility. They live in our home, join our daily routines, and receive dedicated, individualized training. Every day balances structure, enrichment, playtime, rest, and new experiences.
No two dogs are the same, and no two training plans should be either.
Work Hard. Play Hard. Explore More.
Hikes & Walks
Trails, parks, exercise and leash manners in everyday environments.
Playtime & Adventures
Fun, enrichment, appropriate socialization and structured downtime.
Stores & Restaurants
Real-world training at dog-friendly shops and restaurant patios when appropriate.
Behavior First. Obedience Second.
We start with the frustrating everyday behaviors and behavior modification goals that matter most to your household. Then we strengthen obedience, boundaries, leash manners, communication and impulse control.
Training is customized to your dog. We use treats, positive reinforcement and appropriate structured guidance. E-collar training is used only upon request.
Our goal is a dog who learns when to work, when to play and when to settle.
Training Doesn't Stop After a Lesson
Consistent expectations during meals, walks, household routines and rest.
Personalized attention to unwanted habits, confidence and everyday challenges.
